I know I said we’d be grouping all the bikes from a given build block into one blog post, but this one had 6 bikes in it! So we’ve split it into two posts; this one and part 2 which will come next week.
Rob’s Black Chrome Z
Rob managed to remember me mentioning in a blog post at some point that I’d love for someone to order a frame in all Black Chrome powder coat. Well he did it and it’s a stunner! It’s as close as powder coat will come to looking like the inside of a T-1000 with it’s dull/bright metallic finish that’s somehow very industrial as well.
He went for a full build which was awesome to roll out of the shop. With Fox suspension including Factory 36 fork and the new Float X air shock, and Sram G2 stoppers and GX drivetrain, as well as some special bits like a set of our Myth LoMoTo bars in titanium and a Paul stem. He provided the wheels with Onyx hubs and Crank Bros dropper, and it was suddenly a bike!
Looking forward to seeing this one around town, since it actually stayed local. Thanks so much Rob!

Ruben’s Forest Green Z
Ruben got a frame only in a great Forest Green / Black Chrome combo. We offer the rear triangles in 3 color options for the base price: Matte Black, Black Chrome, or the same as your front triangle. Black chrome is pretty popular and with this frame you can see why.
But really Ruben’s choice to go with gold decals over green powder was the cherry on the top for this one.

Kyle’s Illusion Malbec Z
Of the Illusion colors, it’s hard to pick a favorite, but Illusion Malbec might be it. It’s an understated red that really pops in the sun. Kyle went with Illusion Malbec on his size L Zodiac, and it came out very nice.
