Our Philosophy

At Myth Cycles, we know that for some of us, a bike isn’t just a thing. It’s not just this year’s flavor of marketing hype. It’s not just a means to an end. To some of us, a bike is a defining aspect of who we are. Riding isn’t our hobby, it’s our lifestyle.

At Myth, we believe:

American made bikes are king.
American craftsmanship is an art that we aim to keep alive here at Myth. We have a tremendous amount of pride in our product, and we want you to be proud of owning one. All of our frames are designed, built and assembled in our shop right here in the USA. It’s a fact that sets us apart from 98% of the cycling industry.
A bike shouldn’t have an expiration date.
When you invest in something that is such an integral part of your life, it should be well thought out and made to ride for years to come.
You should get excited every time your ride your bike, and every time you look at it.
We let every client personalize their frame with options like powder coat colors, decal colors, and component colors. We want every bike that leaves our shop to be as unique as the person riding it.
Steel is the best material for bike frames.
Steel has the best combination of attributes to make incredible bike frames. Steel road bikes can be ridden for longer with less fatigue, and steel mountain bikes have a lively, predictable feel that other materials can’t reproduce.
Not all new bike technology is evil.
The bike world is rife with “the next big thing” and trends that take off faster than companies can adapt. By making our frames right here in Colorado, we can try new ideas and only apply the ones that have real-world merit to our bikes. As bikes change, we won’t be left behind.
Life is either a daring adventure, or nothing at all.
And we think there’s no finer way to explore the world than on two wheels. Ride a Myth.
