Hannah has been telling me she wants a Myth for years now, so when she decided to pull the trigger, I was pretty excited. I know that she has a tendency to go on trips of epic proportions, whether it’s on foot, ski, or otherwise, so the Tanooki bikepacker seemed like a perfect fit.
It has copious bottle mounts, front and rear rack mounts, a bent downtube for more framebag space, long-n-low geometry, comfortable riding position, and an eccentric BB for adjustable geometry and the ability to tension a chain. The Tanooki is designed to be ridden all day, then all day the next day, and the day after that.
I also want to give full credit to Hannah for picking yellow with green accents. I cannot believe she’s the first to do this (because it looks amazing) but I know she won’t be the last.
The best part about building a bike for someone like Hannah is that you know it’s going to go on some trips that most people only dream about. I can’t see where she takes her new bike!
