Talos, Md/Lg, Bi-color Seafoam/White

It’s always funny when someone orders a frame in a color that I haven’t shot in a long time, because I forget what they all look like if I don’t see them regularly. The seafoam on this bi-color Talos frame came out absolutely splendid. I’m actually considering it for the color of my next frame. It blended really well with the white and the two make a great combo.

Tony didn’t want water bottle bosses on his frame, so we left them off. He’s also planning to run GX Eagle AXS, so we also left off the rear derailleur cable routing too. Very clean, and should give a very clear view of the awesome two tone powder coat once it’s built up too.

Thanks Tony!

  1. Eric, just wanted to provide a you with a brief note of appreciation after riding my Talos for a while now . First , thank you for such an amazing frame . The attention to detail ,quality and artful beauty of the frame is absolutely outstanding!!. I have never received so many compliments and curiosities on a bike by others . The paint work is excellent. Overall , the frame that you built for me totally exceeded my expectations and continues to exceed my expectations every time I look at it and ride it .

From an component standpoint,I built the frame up for rugged technical all mountain riding on Northeast singletrack which typically consists of roots, rocks, logs , ledge, stream crossings , steep technical switchback descents and climbs, rock beds , fast flow sections , etc. I installed a I9 Enduro 355 Carbon wheel-set, full Sram AXS Etap XX1 1X drivetrain , Fox 34 Fit 4 130 fork, Crank Bros Highline dropper , Hope Tech V4 disc brakes with 203 front and 180 rear rotors , White Industries headset and stem, and running Maxis Recon 2.6 tires front and rear tubeless.

Riding- My frame fits me perfectly and I find the handling so balanced ! Geometry is spot on for me and the type of riding that I do . I find no need for any drastic body movements front or rear to keep the bike planted and moving . I find that the bike responds readily to just subtle inputs and movements. A very natural connected feel. I also find that my frame feels lively at the same time smooth and really absorbs and dampens vibration and harshness well. Traction is amazing! Wow do I love the 2.6’s along with the clearance that you designed into the frame! Climbs and descends like a mountain goat and I am able to finesse and pick my way through the gnarliest trail sections !

Thank you again for such a wonderful frame. For me mountain biking is a joy and passion, a relaxation and way to immerse myself into nature , and I feel thankful and blessed to have my Talos as I continue to enjoy the journey.

    Tony
